There are some beautiful views here. Not accessible with a pushchair and very muddy on the day we went! You need to be fairly fit but there are some easier routes to choose.

A gorgeous walk with wonderful views. A little boggy in places but quite accessible. Good walkways. Exhilarating for an after Christmas blast.

Completed a 10 mile walk from the Caravan and Motorhome Club site at Blackshaw Moor over the Roaches and back. It is quite challenging in places but there were plenty of families with young children on the ridge. The views out across towards Tittesworth Water...More

We stayed here for a long weekend amidst this stunning scenery on the edge of the Peak District. The Roaches are very popular with rock climbers and parking is limited on the public road which is extremely busy at weekends with rock climbers, cyclists and...More

We had a lovely 12km walk around The Roaches - visiting Lud Church (which I would recommend). View were excellent all around.
