An absolutely beautiful part of the country. We went with 4 children aged 8-12yrs. They had a ball, so did the dogs! Could not believe how stunning the views were up to the top and then across the peaks. Turkey amazing, no place like England.

We spent the most of the afternoon driving around all the rocks formations and watching the rock climbers, fabulous views of Leek's valley and it is always a great place to visit during your stay in the Peak District!!!

May I know where should I park my car in order to hike up these amazing trail to see these rocks? Is it possible to have some postal code for several parking spots that I can use? Is it easy to find the trail to get up there?

Hi it is rumoured that people used to live in Luds Church which is seperate from the Roaches but 100% worth the visit, It is essentially a chasm in the ground that appears out of no where.

I have never been to the area, and don't usually venture out on walks alone. Would The Roaches be suitable for a lone walker? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Yes the Roaches themselves have well trodden pathways and usually attract quite a few walkers, so you will surely see other people while on the path.
