I have visited this outstanding property a number of times - the last being late Spring this year. Not another soul around so we were able to relish our walk around the barn and then walk inside. The quiet atmosphere helped us to reflect on...More

An amazing structure built in 14th Century. If you appreciate old buildings and construction techniques, then certainly worth a visit. Would be quite an undertaking to build now, never mind 700 years so!

This National Trust Property is simply outstanding. It demonstrates to size and technical complexity that builders could manage around the 13th century. Huge beams and rafters. How they bent them to form such architectural structures is a source of wonderment. They certainly didn't hold them...More

One of the best medieval tithe bans in the UK. Owned by the National Trust it should be on everyone's "places to visit" list

Free to visit. A very impressive barn! We parked at the woodlands at Coleshill and walked the footpath to the barn.

If you happen to be fascinate it is interesting to pop in and soak up the atmosphere and be amazed at how long this barn has survived. A short visit as there's not a great deal else to see.

This is in surprisingly good condition, and is an interesting relic of the past. There is little else to do here, and nothing on the inside once you have seen the impressive height of the interior. Worth going to if you are in the vicinity,...More

Easy to find, nice walking routes. It's a big barn but that's it, don't expect to spend more than 5 minutes looking at it.
