After a decent couple of nights in the pub (spending a lot of money) we decided to watch the football there. As i was driving later in the day we only ordered soft drinks, this didn't go down well at all with the sad old...More

Been coming to Seahouses for nearly 40 years and to this pub for probably 10. Great atmosphere and mainly friendly locals. The drinks are cheaper than most of the other bars probably because it is a bit more hidden. The entertainment at weekends is good...More

We had a night in Seahouses and decided to return here. A great night, they had a singer on who was belting out mainly 60’s hits, might not be to everyone’s taste but you couldn’t deny he brought a great atmosphere to the place. The...More

We stayed for a week across the road from the Schooner & of course popped in every night. Landlord & landlady plus "lady" Victoria who worked the bar every night made us most welcome. Always interested in where we had been that day & our...More

The pub has a cosy feel to it and staff are friendly. However the food was dated, bland and greasy. Don't eat here if you like fresh or tasty meals.

This review does not apply to the schooner inn in Seahouses, we do not serve food only drinks.

As the other reviews all state you will get a mixture of bad language, horse racing and 80s music on a big screen, and the best craic in Seahouses. Only disappointing aspect was the lack of real ale. Get round that by having a couple...More

Thanks for your review. Hope you come back soon. Sadly I cannot promise real ale as our cellar just doesn't do it justice and it's better not to sell it. Rather than sell a substandard pint!

Great pub generally and a good place to watch England play v Columbia. Great atmosphere any day but on this day brilliant. Would have give it 5 but no real ale. Electric Black Sheep and Guinness were both tasted well.
