May be a fairly regular visitor to this property but we have never been at night in the run up to Christmas. However, when realised that there was the possibility of visiting at night to maximise the seasonal decorations, we moved a more customary Sunday...More

The sunny weather made all the difference but the grounds of this National Trust stately home are worth the visit, and the journey to get here, especially the walled garden and river walk. Pleasant cafe with welcoming staff too.

Love this place. Great walks, long and short. The house is beautiful (although we don't spend much time in it). We go for the peace and tranquility. Several play areas for kids of all ages.
