13 of us rocked up at 12 o’clock on a Saturday and had a brilliant time. The landlady was amazing, chatted away to us, offered us free crisps and entertainment. Cheap, cheerful and chilled. Loved it.

What a find! The lady behind the bar is amazingly friendly. A large group of us arrived and she kept us all entertained, lots of drinks and free crisis. Excellent!

Staff were great but I have to give it one star simply because the real ale had me on the toilet all day the next day! Pity.

Brenda, in her 80s, about to retire, so be quick! Daughter is following on so fear not. Fantastic atmospheric wooden interior, with beautiful, beautiful stained glass. Brenda told about the friendly ghost which haunts the place (I'm not suprised, the pub was built in 1700s)...More
