We called into Belford museum whilst staying on holiday there last week. They had a section on local volunteers who joined World War One, extreamly interesting and very moving especially as there were local abittuaries. Overall a very good display, congratulations to all who contributed....More

In addition to a general history of buildings & families in the village, the Museum has a unique WW1 theme - drawn on the reported experiences of local men & women. Recommended

This small museum is well worth a visit. It is very interesting and well laid out. If visiting with children, it has an activity sheet and computer to learn about the village.

A tiny, informal collection of artefacts and displays with a real wealth of knowledge behind it. We let ourselves in and spent about 25 minutes reading and viewing the history of this small town. Really interesting piece of local social history and worth the stop...More
