This is a must see, as she was a brave girl to help her father save those people. It has been renovated since the last time we visited and it has been done well. We also visited her grave which is in the church yard opposite.

Well worth the visit. The free entry museum is well thought out and provides a fascinating insight into the life and achievements of Grace Darling, an early example of the dedication of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Great for both children and adults alike. Thoroughly recommended.

We were greeted by the most friendly staff. The museum was a delight and we were able to watch a film and learn about the life of Grace Darling who died tragically young.
