huge selection and catalogued. Mainly second hand. Great cafe and tea room/restaurant Next to the books. Is housed in the former alnwick railway station buildings. Limited parking but there's a handy supermarket with parking next to barters

This is a great book shop and worth a visit whilst in Alnwick, whether you just want to browse the books or are looking for special editions. There is a lovely atmosphere and at Christmas they give out free mince pies and sherry!

You don’t donate but barter. Take your books and they offer a barter price( or not). You can use the money to buy books. If you return a book bought from them you usually get half of what you paid. They will explain all to... More

Yes. The only place dogs aren't allowed is in some parts of the cafe, but they are definitely allowed in one part as we took our dog here.
