Thoroughly enjoyed browsing some of the old titles, seeing books and comic annuals I grew up with, found a couple of reference books which should prove useful. even if I never read them :-) Also checkout the buffet for a decent feed.

Loved it here. Great use of old station buildings, huge selection of books for sale. Good cafe , had breakfast here 3 days in a row at very reasonable prices, good varied menu.

This place is extraordinary and one could get lost for days. Try to visit when it’s not terribly busy, else you get stuck in crowded spaces!

A gorgeous unique cafe in what was a railway station. Find a table then order. Service excellent and food home made. Prices not over the top. A must when visiting Alnwick.

Awesome bookshop with an amazing atmosphere. A must visit if you are in Alnwick or staying in Northumberland. Visited many times and it never disappoints me. Some many different sections to choose from. Never left empty handed.
