This is the place for book lovers, rows and rows of books enchant readers. Everything is available. There are warm fires and a cafe, a lovely space to spend time on a cold wet afternoon.

Every time I’m down in Alnwick, I always drop in here for a few hours. Always pick up a book or comic as there’s always something that catches your eye.

Always visit Barter Books when in Alnwick and it never fails to impress. It's an amazing use of an old railway station and the roaring fires in the cafes (former waiting rooms) never cease to surprise me. Just love the train set too. The book...More
