Fantastic place, the gardens are stunning and obviously there ha been allot of thought and care. The cherry blossom is fabulous. I would suggest if any of your family are veggy, being your own food. All there is is a cheese sandwich drenched in Mayo, in edible.

Spectacular cherry trees in blossom! 300 to walk through on a long winding path. Go when not to busy to see it at its best.

We arrived just after the gates opened and luckily it was quiet. It's quite expensive to visit the gardens and castle but worth it if you are there anyway. Good coffee and the restaurant is modern and very clean. The fountain is lovely to look at whilst having a coffee! The gardens are only just coming out but we really... More

Beautiful place and in spring great to enjoy the water features while having a coffee and great scones without the crowds but I think more spring / winter planting could bring a bit more colour. Stunning cheery trees had sadly been lost to the frost when we visited although some were still flowering in the walled garden. I really like... More

The Alnwick Gardens were amazing. So beautiful. Loved the fountains and the blossoms. The highlight was the variety of tulips particularly as many flowers are not in bloom.

We came here as a family for a day out as we had heard it was nice and nobody had been before. We brought a pucnic so didn't sample any of the restaurants or cafes. There was plenty to do for the kids and adults alike. There was an easter egg hunt on which the kids thoroughly enjoyed, especially the... More

this ticket was bought in conjunction with the castle ticket. Fantastic layout, ideal for cameras, the water displays are excellent. We went in may, but a lot of the greenery wasnt ready yet, so a summer visit may be better. We want to go in the winter months next time , so its lit up at night. if your taking... More
