My husband and I visited the castle garden during a recent break in the area. It was very busy, as our visit took place during the school summer holidays. There was a fair amount of 'gimmickry' linked to the Harry Potter books/merchandise, which was great...More

I really enjoyed our first time at Alnwick gardens, the poison garden tour is probably one of my favourite parts of the day, I found it so helpful to have someone talking through the different plants will definitely be back again!

This garden is a must at any time of year. The ornamental garden and all of the water features are just stunning. Lunch in the restaurant was inexpensive and very good. The tour of the Poison Garden was very interesting.
