Walk around the reservoir - it takes just under an hour with stops for dogs and photographs! Lovely cafe and nature area.

Expensive car park (for Daventry). Basically a reservoir and some undeveloped land. Pleasant enough, but 'country park' gives it a status beyond its means - especially given some of the wonderful countryside around here. Worth a stop on a sunny day, but don't bother making...More

Great place to walk with interesting information around the area. Toilets are dirty with cold water to wash your hands and a electric dryer that was almost as cold as the water.

Delightful autumnal walk around the reservoir with our dogs, then coffee and cake at the end - perfect! The cafe also offers hot snacks and, whilst open air, does have cover for rainy days. Dog biscuits and bird food are also available to buy. Highly...More

Great at any time of the year, for walks, visiting the playpark or feeding the ducks! If you don't have breadcrumbs, buy duck feed at the cafe. There's a circular trail for walking around the reservoir. Or, you can take a side-trip to the community...More

I used to frequent the play area when my children were smaller but now I prefer the further shore so my retriever can have a swim away from the birds and the children feeding them.

We took the good weather to stretch our legs and walk our dog round the reservoir. We like coming here and so does our dog. The cafe was welcoming for an ice cream at the end

Very peaceful during the week and great for cycling or walking the dog. The ice cream stand is always busy during the weekend and on Saturdays the play area is super busy. Very nice for feeding the ducks and taking pictures of the reservoir.

Beautiful scenery, enjoyable walk. Nice play area and facilities. Sometimes the algae problem prevents dog walkers but otherwise lovely.

Nice place for a long walk ! Walked around 4km through the shades and it's enjoyable. Small but enough parking

Perfect for the whole family but especially the kids. The ducks swans and Canadian geese makes it idyllic. The ice cream and coffee house are a bit pricey but a welcome rest to enjoy the view of the lake. And the parking fee is extortionate.

Being used to visiting other parks in our area of Northamptonshire - Stanwick Lakes, Irchester Park, Sywell Park etc we were very disappointed with Daventry Park, it has much potential but looks tired and unloved! We were looking after our grandchildren in Northampton so thought...More

We do allow bike riding in the park, however the paths are narrow is some areas so we ask that cyclists are careful and considerate of other users. Many thanks.

Hi, yes we have 2.1m clearance barrier at the car park although there are 6 spaces before the barrier. Many thanks.
