The weather fined up and it was a pleasure to walk around the boating lake, people feeding the geese, swans and ducks. A perfect Sunday afternoon.

Lovely place for children to run about and get plenty of fresh air. With ducks, geese and swans on the lake children can learn whilst walking around it. The cafe is also great for home cooked food at a reasonable price.

Took the kids out for a stroll and walking around the boating lake with a warm coffee is a great way to kill an hour and see some wildlife

We were walking around the boating lake after a good walk of 5 miles, and felt like a cup of tea, a good place to stop, tea and cakes were great.

Walking round the boating lake is an experience many would enjoy, although not as large as some it still has it’s charm in spades. Well worth a walk.
