We turned up on Easter Sunday 5 car loads of us for afternoon teas after morning in Mablethorpe. Very busy (short staffed) bit of a wait but we were in no hurry we all managed to get seated inside as it was raining at the time. Sandwiches and cakes reasonably priced and tasty.

Very nice food and cakes all made on the premises. The cakes and pastries are made from wholemeal flour ground at their own windmill

Visited Easter Sunday for drinks and cakes, mega busy and understandably a bit of a wait but the food and drinks were reasonably priced for that sort of thing and delicious. Recommend a visit. Will be back to sample other food on the menu.

We walked from the Market Place in Alford to the windmill as it wasn't far. Its great to see that the windmill is still working and open to visitors. We were slightly disappointed that it cost £3 each to look inside and as we were on a time restraint and only wanted a short visit felt it was just a... More

It's nice to be able to look around the windmill. There is also a very nice tea room. Parking is free there is a charge to look around the windmill.

Took my mum and daughter here this weekend. Very welcoming staff and although late in the afternoon they didn't rush us. The lemon and lime cake was fab! The gentleman asked if mums teacaje was brown enough? I love this concern and attention! Thankyou. My daughter had a jacket spud which she said was yum! A lovely time had by... More

Had lunch there today with my sister and mum, not a massive choice but the food was very good and reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and efficient. I've only given it 4 stars as it was cold in the place but to be fair it was freezing outside.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was nice to show my daughter around a traditional working windmill and from what she saw, she rather enjoyed it. I just think it's needs to come with a warning if you don't have a head for heights. It was also nice to have a shop next door where you could... More

Fantastic place. The windmill is excellent. You can climb all the way to the top. If you're lucky like we were a nice gentleman will take you outside on the balcony while the sails go round. Great value for money. Gift shop with plenty of choice. Excellent tea room. Recommend a visit.

Come across the windmill by accident whilst driving in the area and decidied to have a look. A small entrance fee to explore the many floors of the windmill which my eldest loved. The grounds are small but well kept and we decided to have lunch in the tea rooms which was equally as good. Hidden gem and well worth... More
