This museum had recently been updated. It offers some really interesting history of Fleetwood ' s fishing industry. In my opinion it's a little off the tourist track and can easily be missed although it over looks the river Wyre.

Lovely museum run by a friendly team of volunteers who were very helpful. Plenty to see and good to understand Fleetwood history and heritage. Only cost £3 each to enter

By chance I came across this small museum. It is very well presented and well worth a visit if you happen to be near Fleetwood. It could be an add on after visiting Fleetwood market or Freeport. For a meagre payment of £3 ( concessions £2) this value for money if one is interested in the history of the fishing... More

The museum is the must see place to visit on a trip to Fleetwood. Fleetwood has so much history from fishing, to trains to ferry boats, all of which is shown off to great effect in this museum. What a great museum. It covers the history of Fleetwood, how it developed etc. There's plenty to see. The staff are warm, friendly and so knowledgeable, coud have stayed there for hours. Brilliant place to visit for all ages. Nice café too. The big plus, it's very cheap and a discount for over 60s. You won't be disappointed. There are... More

If you are in Fleetwood this is a great way to spend a couple of hours. The mueseum is staffed by volunteers, who are both engaging and knowledgeable. It is in a converted family home and is very charming and has an older world appeal of a private collection. I particularly reccomend visiting the remains of an old fishing boat... More

This place is a must if your visiting Fleetwood it has a lot of useful information about the town! More suited to the older generation but still enjoyed by the younger generation.
