We used to regularly visit this pub, unfortunately it's under new management and dogs are no longer allowed.
This is a real shame but there are plenty of other lovely pubs in the area that do welcome dogs.
My Dad recommended here for the family to have a meal together in celebration of his birthday, table was booked in advance. He raved about the Sunday lunch, two courses for £6.95.

Forget big drinking houses, this is the way to do a traditional public house. Excellent food and drink, great atmosphere. Folks have been flocking here in ever greater numbers since the current tenants took over last year.
