Botany Bay in Chorley has it all - shopping, dining and leisure opportunities in a picturesque canalside location with excellent transport links, just off the M61 motorway. Shop – From clothing and footwear to home furnishings and gifts, Botany Bay is home to many small and unique independent sellers as well as big name brands. We have an all year round garden centre and a Victorian style foodhall packed with local produce that offers a real taste of Lancashire. Plus, our Christmas Shop which is open from September to February each year, is a stunning experience not to be missed! Dine – Throughout the mill there’s a choice of cafes and a licensed restaurant serving anything from breakfast and light snacks to three course meals. Play – Always popular with visitors is our collection of vintage penny slot machines, one of the largest in the UK. We stage a number of events throughout the year, plus our prime position on the Leeds & Liverpool canal offers a wonderful opportunity for leisurely strolls.

Took the grandson to Puddletown Pirates for his ninth birthday. Had the misfortune to order a sausage barm and after waiting half an hour it came uncooked. The sausage was just like raw meat- not a pleasant experience. Seriously need more staff there.

Yes it is free large free car park. A large soft play area for children which you have to pay for. Well worth a visit, keep your cards in your purse if you do not want to spend too much money!!
