Checked the website for opening hours, both their own website and Tripadvisor say it’s open today. We travelled half. an hour to get here and it’s shut. - Poor

As I explained on meeting with you and offering our apology, we do have occasional events, wedding etc. On our website we have a statement that suggests if you are traveling some distance to us please do call & check particularly around bank holiday weekends.

Hi I am sorry that you were disappointed but, forgive me I wonder if you did go around the whole Hall? There are a total of 17 cabinets in one room on the ground floor alone and 6 on the corridor just by the reception...More

A wonderful old Hall, massive and imposing, with not only a history to be learned about, it also has a cafe, antiques centre and the most beautiful grounds.,

Met a cousin here the other day and wow had it changed since last there. It was not only the hall itself that had antiques but has new 'outbuildings' for you to explore as well. Could of spent longer hunting/rummaging through the stalls! You end...More

Great little day out at Heskin Hall. Lots of shops to look round, great crafts , jewellery and furniture. Only £1 per person to go round the Hall, a fabulous building, if only walls could talk what stories they could tell. Small price to pay...More

I have been to Heskin hall on many occasions and have always had a warm welcome. The cafe serves yummy food and service is excellent. You can pop in for the afternoon and look around or have a celebration there. My son got married here...More

There is a cafe right by the large entrance in the barn that arranges craft sessions I think; apart from that I wouldn't say a great deal but there are relevant stalls selling kid-related items!
