Absolutely superb: makes your imagination sing too. Words cannot describe the sheer scale of the Singing Ringing Tree - it's big, voluble and mysterious. Vist it in windy coinditions for the best effect.

This is one of several panopticon sculptures around East Lancashire. You need to visit on a windy or at least gusty day as there is an eery sound generated by the steel tubes on such days. The views are superb and on a few days...More

This is a lovely sight with lovely views. Be warned that it gets very windy and chilly so be prepared to put on an extra layer

a nice drive out, not too far for us, small car park and a short walk, to the tree, slightly windy, but still made quite a bit of noise, clever design

It's worth a look if you're in the area and there's also a great view as it's high on the moor. It's best on a windy day. There's free parking and it's a 3 or 4 mins walk from the car park.

Apologies for the delay in replying. The path from the car park parking area is not tarmacked or surfaced & as it follows the line of the hill you would encounter some differences in gradient & in some places an uneven... More
