I read other people's reviews and I wonder what they've been drinking. To say this is a waste of time and not worth seeing is a travesty. I've been to many castles throughout the UK and Wales, some in good condition, others in ruins. Tonbridge...More

Didn’t get a chance to go in but a lovely little castle and grounds. Just a shame they’ve bolted a building to it 🤷🏽‍♂️ Worth a quick stopover if your passing through Tonbridge.

This is great place to spend an hour or two, take the paid tour if you want to more than the outside walls. Give yourself ample time to also walk the river path beside the fort or take a short river cruise.

Not much of a castle left but worth a look. We climbed to the highpoint that has great views. The information centre was good. Plenty of squirrels to see. Castle is situated in a lovely part of town next to the River.

A beautiful spot, interesting history, lovely park and pathways, the staff are very personable and eager to talk about the history of the castle. Would recommend this spot as one to just take a break, have a seat, enjoy the view.
