Family friendly with a play area and small library. Lots of parking but no toilets which explains the 4 star rating. Cricket pitch in the summer and football fields in the winter.

We visited one afternoon, and parked by the public library, where toilets can be found inside. There were many children at play in the fenced, well appointed play area. The wide open spaces of the park are popular with dog owners, and the perimeter is...More

As a child I spent many happy days at Northdown Park. There are places we could make camps in and plenty of beautiful mature trees. The best thing is there is so much space. I recall sitting on my bike 50 years ago, looking across...More

Great Park. Used to go regularly as a youngster. Returned recently. Good walk around the park, full of wildlife and manicured gardens.

I know all parks have trees, but this one is like being in the woods, Its a bit off the beaten track, but nice for walks somewhere for the dogs to run about.

This is the park of choice for dog walkers. Open, flat, quiet, not too muddy and surrounded by glorious trees. Great for children too. There is a small woodland walk (that does get muddy) and a lovely garden next to the house. Should be 5 stars...More

I love Northdown park. I have grown up with it. They have improved the play facilities but it is a great dog walking park, hidden bushy areas and wide open field combine to provide a lovely escape from the busyness of everyday life.

Northdown park is a really nice little park. Not huge, not tiny, in fact it's just right. Great for the dog, It's open till late and never gets too busy. Give it a go. Nice and relaxing walk

Northdown Park is a very pleasant park with a good children's play park which is fenced to prevent dogs getting in, the downside to this park is that there are no facilities at all, so if you are there for any length of time particularly...More

Yes in the library, but if you pay the £15 per year for fob for secret garden you have your own private toilets
