It is like going back in time, happy children relaxed adults, long hot sunny days. Families sitting on the beach with buckets and spades children catching crabs, good food and drink smiley faces everywhere. How England used to be bliss.

Has got even better than our last visit..so nice to see..what was a run down..derelict pier..now full of life .with lots to atract visitors..lots of small retail outlets..the whole area seems to be getting a new lease of life.

Visited recently. It's nice that's its dog friendly. It's much better now it's been updated. Just hope one day it's extended to meet the abandoned end.

took the kids for the carousel and a look see. It has all this little beach shacks on it selling loads of different nik naks. if you are in town worth a look

Great stroll on Herne Bay Pier today and , despite the crowds, managed to get a table at the food court. This Pier has improved beyond recognition with a large choice of shops, childrens rides and food stalls.More

Whilst visiting Herne Bay we wandered along the promenade in the sunshine then enjoyed the wander along the pier. There are numerous quirky beach hut kiosks selling an array of seaside bits and bobs as well as drinks and food. Children will enjoy the rides...More

The pier should have been made into a indoors market place so the huts could be open all week so they could make there moneyMore

We did offer the kiosk operators the idea of covering but they did not want this, people come to the pier for that outdoors and by the seaside experience. The Kings Hall does offer indoor markets and craft days etc, as its more suited to...More

Loved the pier here, lovely views, fish and chips lovely :) staff very friendly and welcoming! My little boy loved it and will defiantly come back, loved the little shops too

The helper skelter was £2 .00 for 3 slides. didn't use the carousel sorry, but assuming it would be a similar price.
