Whilst this Shrine is well known, it is reached in a quiet road, the welcome is warm and there is a great "presence" at the Shrine. The Parish Church is also worth a look.

I love visiting the Shrine of Saint Jude whenever I am in the area. It is truly stunning and so peaceful, allowing me a real chance to reflect. There are also other places to look at amongst the gardens, including the rosary way and the information centre. Loved it.

The shrine is located a shot walk from the centre of this historic and small town and is dedicated to St Jude, who according to the brochure is a little mentioned Apostle. The building was previously a cinema and it gives off a modern feel to it with a slight hint that it was something else before being a shrine.... More

Many Christians visit the shine (especialy those originating from India) and find a place of peace and recollection. I visit occasionaly and share in the calm that this little room offers. However, St Jude never visited this place and non-Christians may find it corny and contrived. If you have ten minutes spare in this lovely little corner of Faversham, call... More

A shrine to St Jude the patron saint of lost causes in a converted former cinema. A charming place for people who are looking for some peace in Faversham. Run by the Carmelites. Why St Jude I don't know as Faversham boasts two genuine Christian martyrs in St Crispin and his brother St Cripiian who were martyred for their Christian... More

Lovely little church with the shrine below. It was so quiet and peaceful that I found it therapeutic. I am so glad I made the journey to this little church and shrine.

This shrine isn't easy to find, and the carpark even more so. We like churches, so were looking forward to this shrine, but found no real atmosphere there, and the paintings were disappointing. Didn't really hit the spot that St Mary of Charity church did.

It is in a quiet but accessible part of Faversham and connected to a beautiful Church. It is looked after by the Carmelites who are very welcoming. There are different events through the year which you can discover from their website.

For devout Catholics, the shrine is somewhat of a holy grail. Along with Aylesford it reflects a place if calm and spiritual . The daily Mass is perfect, simple and reverent with Morning Prayer to wash one into the liturgy to follow, with a suitable homily to reflect upon. The Shrine downstairs is also simple but beautiful.
