We are Deal's Micropub. Started in December 2011 we are now firmly part of the Deal community. We specialise in real ales from microbreweries across the UK and have a constantly changing menu. Beers are kept in a temperature controlled room, served directly from the cask and brought to you.

We also sell: real ciders; a selection of wines and soft drinks; a limited range of snacks including Kentish cheese; Kent crisps and pork pies from a local, award winning butcher.

We do not sell lager or spirits nor do we have piped music or television. Mobile phones can be used to access the internet but a ringing phone results in a fine (money going to the Pilgrims Hospice).

We offer a friendly and unique venue in Deal and hope to see you soon.

Lovely chatty atmosphere. A small but good selection of ales and ciders and even wine and soft drinks for non beer drinkers. Friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly. Nice to sit and chat, rather than listen to blaring music. The Ciders are seriously good !

Lovely micropub just off the sea front. Good clientele and friendly service. The ales on offer covered a wide range of styles and tastes but we were after cider. There were 4 on tap which seemed great but 3 if these were fruit-flavoured which was a bit much. This left as with only the Abrahalls to try; beautifully kept and... More

Lovely choice of real ale and cider and really pleasant customers that didn't give one the hard stare often found when trying a new micro brewery Really enjoyed and will go again

This micro pub lives up to all the great reviews it receives. Easy to find about a minute back from the sea front and Royal hotel. Fine locally sourced beers served directly from the barrels in the cellar. no actual Bar just great table service from the frienldy knowledgeble staff. If we lived in Deal this would be our 'local'

Visiting Deal on the 30th December, found the Just Reproach a great micropub, friendly staff and locals alike, the ale (and spiced cider for my wife Sally!) was well kept. Had local cheeses and pickles also, overall very friendly, great ales and seemed very popular! Will definitely return.

Second visit to this gem of a place. No frills and no mobile phones and I nearly forgot, no larger😀 Highly recommend the just reproach. The rhubarb cider was delicious. Brewed in faversham. The flavours were awesome. Quite a small intimate place so at certain times, it's standing room only but that adds to the charm of this place. Very... More

We searched this one out and were successful. Spacious establishment with an ample amount of seating. There was a fantastic atmosphere and the service was excellent. Decent choices of ale and cider. The decor was great. Will definitely return when next in Deal.

I have occasionally been drinking in the Just Reproach since not long after it first opened. It is a family run micro pub that has always been popular. Sadly Debbie, Mark's Wife and Bronwen's Mother died in April. The downside of the pubs popularity is that as it is small you can often arrive, especially at weekend evenings, and there... More
