We went on a heritage open day. A quirky little museum. Looking at the waves breaking on the Goodwin Sands was amazing.

Run by volunteers, who are only too willing to answer your questions. The tower is quite a climb, but well worth it for the views. Not open all the time, but does have info posted outside for opening times etc.

Fascinating to think this was used to set clock times in olden days. A large ball on the roof rises on the hour then drops. Very interesting.
