This is a fairly large church which is very photogenic. In side it has a large and airy feel to it. There are lots of features to see and there are also boards strategically placed giving information. This church is well worth a visit.

Built on the back of the wool trade the church has some pagan roots with the wooden Green Man plaques inside and a stone Green man in the porch. Above the porch, a room used as a jail used to hold Protestants prior to them...More

What a wonderful church to wander around, it was made even better because I had the chance to climb the narrow steps up the West Tower and take in the view from the roof, fantastic. Take a look at the Roberts family tree and the...More

The church door is open all day, every day, and the explanations of the history of the building are most helpful. Additionally, the welcome to worship on a Sunday is excellent.

I visited this church today and heard a concert given by two young musicians . They gave a varied programme, mainly older music but with a very modern piece for contrast.

Cranbrook was once the county town of Kent and the church echoes that status, It has two superb wooden carvings of Jack the Green in addition to other features

The church looked like it was well used and a key part of the community. Unusually you can see the bell ringing ropes underneath the tower on the upper floor. Also there is a full immersion baptism chamber hidden away.

A most beautiful building in an enchanting market town. The church is very well kept, as large as a small cathedral and with many items of great interest. A most inspirational and peaceful setting. However, I am bound to say that, in over 20 years...More

English is full of old churches, but St. Dunstan's feels a bit like a small cathedral because of its size and the quality of the architecture. Keep an eye out for the Little Green Men, a small architectural detail that many might miss.
