We recently had our Corvette Club Picnic at Providence in the shelter house. Very nice facility right on the river and built by the WPA during the depression. Well maintained and upgraded.

Unfortunately the Mill was not open, but the small museum was...but not all that interesting. The hike offers paths on either along the river or canal banks and has an easy grade. It was beautiful in Oct.
