My wife & I went there for our wedding anniversary. The weather was great so we took our time enjoying the gardens with many flowers in bloom and the ponds which were teaming with life, fish, water skaters & birds that are attracted to the insects there. Recommend it.

Taken here by friends & thoroughly enjoyed a walk around a very comprehensively stocked garden, which despite being already established is still being expanded, but then a garden is always a work in progress. The garden, very well maintained, is not only a chance for a walk in clean air but an inspiration for a new garden or re-invigorating an... More

Go here it is amazing. Lovely tree house play area for kids, and loads of different flora and fauna on some brilliant walks around the grounds. Top it off with a hot chocolate in the cafe. Great facilities

We visited here on Xmas eve and our daughter did the bauble trail. We have been here several times and it's a lovely garden to visit. It was very cold though and very busy. I think I prefer it in the summer but we still had a nice time. The café was very very busy. We queued for ages. But... More

It's great to walk through the gardens and see the trees , it takes you back to your childhood . Peaceful, there is so much to see that you can't wait to go back and see more and the bits you have missed

We are members here, so often visit on our own, with family members or friends. Always a delight and plenty to do fr the children. Cafe is brilliant. Usually extra exhibitions on. Recommend this day out to everyone.

Living locally, there is always a changing aspect to these fine gardens. Most recently we were bestowed with a carpet of colour. I was even fortunate to catch a lovely robin chortling a chorus from a tree by the lake. Good assortment of food in the well lit restaurant. We are indeed blessed to have this fine amenity nearby to... More

Visiting in autumn was a real treat of colour and texture and reflections in water. The gardens are well laid out and there are paths that make most of them accessible to wheelchair uses and push-chairs. There are activities for children and things to spot along the way - ideal for adults as well! The catering facilities were very good... More
