Lovely walk round the lake/ pond - easily accessible from the town centre. Varied scenery and views with consistently good paths. Wide enough/ smooth enough for easy wheelchair/ buggy users. Cafe and toilets onsite, the former opening at 10.30.

We live 10 minutes walk from this lovely place, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk around its shores. If you want a quiet peaceful walk, go early morning, you'll see the geese and swans still resting and meet only a few dog walkers....More

I have never noticed anyone having a bbq before! I wouldn't have thought so though. There is a path way behind the trees slightly away from the lake that is less obvious? They have cut the trees back all around in recent... More

Driving from the town on the southern side of the lake, the car park is on the left at the far end on that side. It's a free car park. You can also find parking in the treats around it.
