We walk here almost every week. Lots to see but beware of the cyclists. Dog walkers abound, most are conscious that children can be wary, but as always it takes all sorts ....

Fleet pond is beautiful and peaceful. We loved our atumn walk through the wood and around the pond and spent hours enjoying some wind down time. Well maintained, good picnic areas and very doggy friendly.

Parking is available from several directions in and around the area. You can take a variety of paths around the pond and through the woods, and watch a wide variety of birdlife.

We love going to Fleet Pond. Either just on our own or with our daughters dog. There are several walks with various distances. Also you can walk through the fields. Lots of wildlife and birds to see too.

My wife and I regularly walk our dog in this area, there are many tails, tracks and pathways as will as a picnic area with seating and tables. There is plenty of woodland for children and dogs to run around in. Excellent wooded walks.

I walk most days with my dogs at the pond; there are so many routes and it is kept very well maintained but without losing it’s rural character.

Walking around the pond is always nice. The duckboards have made a huge difference to the parts that used to be very muddy. The pond is always active with wildlife. However the road down to the car park is one of the worst around, it’s...More
