New hosts settling in. Always a noisy, busy bar in town centre. Good old fashioned karaoke Wednesday's and weekends. Range of ales and craft beers and a right mix of bottled drinks in the fridge.

The Globe is still under refurbishment which can't be rushed being a Grade 2 listed building. Wide range of Real Ales, Beers, Lagers & Spirits including shots with plenty of deals on offer. No food (yet) but plenty of atmosphere and friendly experienced enthusiastic staff...More

Only one real ale on at the time (Doombar), and the pub was rather quiet. Don't think they do food. Pint of Carling I had was in good condition.

It is a Matthew Clarke brewery but leased through Hawthorne Leisure.
