The home of a lot of ITV and BBC programs and the studios they broadcast from. Radio stuff too, along with a variety of media stuff.

This is the home of BBC studios where such programs as Blue Peter and the VOICE are made. Was able to walk around Blue Peter gardens.Just a short walk away was ITV studios that makes Coronation street. Also nearby was Imperial War Museum and Manchester United

Hi, the nearby school my wife works at has half term the week before, but I'm not sure if other schools in the Greater Manchester area all have the same week. I'm afraid it don't know which areas might be closed on Thursday during term time. I can only suggest you try contacting the website. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hope you enjoy your trip. Alan
Hi, there yes there are a few places to eat in the area but my advice would be to either hop on the metro or grab a taxi into Manchester. Uber shouldn’t cost much. From what I remember I’d not call any in media city romantic... More
