A very good tour around lots of areas of the BBC studios. Lots to see and plenty of interesting information. The tour is free and you can apply online. Easy to get to by tram from Manchester and surrounding areas or by bus or car.

Do go and see the Blue Peter Garden which was moved from London's Shephards Bush. For the oldies there are Shep's footprints

We had a really fun time touring the BBC Studios. Very informative. We were able to take part in a Radio Drama and got to sit on the Red Sofa and try our hand at presenting the weather!

We have been to Media City a couple of times and did not see any merchandise shops in any of the three studio complexes. Try the BBC website. Hope this helps Terry
