An interesting piece of local history. A party of school children were made extremely welcome by an informative tour and character role play. Beautiful grounds and wildlife. Can recommend a visit.

This beautiful medieval manor house is hidden away in a park near the centre of Southend. Everything is well displayed and the moat forms part of the surrounding park. Entry is free and it is easy to park in nearby streets.
