Fairly local to me so have been on a number of occasions over the years. Worth going at different times of year for different displays.

Beautiful at any time of year. There are a variety of garden styles, beautiful walks in between. There is a lake ( with fish) little bridges, a shop & small garden centre. There is also a very pretty cafe. There's a stunning rose walk. There are beehives. As with any RHS garden it's geared to educate especially children. In summer... More

1st visit and we were pleasantly surprised at the extent of planting.....loved the tree fern gully and the alliums. So much work going on to improve the experience, but nothing impacted on our day. New entrance facilities are excellent and no more expensive in shop and plant area than our local garden centres. We spent an enjoyable 4 hours wandering at... More

This was our first visit of 2017 and there is much change being undertaken at these RHS gardens. Accepting that you cannot deliver a major redevelopment of the site without some disruption for visitors, Hyde Hall is still worth a visit for the gardens alone. However, don't expect too much from the catering and then you won't be disappointed. We... More

Went to the restaurant (new canteen) for lunch and ordered the healthy option with jacket potatoes Was asked to wait 10 min initially, then 15 min and then 30 mins as they had too many orders Finally gave up after 40 min, and told manager we would have to leave. Very politely she apologised and refunded our cash after offering... More
