We were married at Leiston Abbey on 23 April. The ruins provided a fantastic backdrop for our wedding photos. We held our reception and stayed overnight at the music school that shares the site at Leiston Abbey and they couldn't have been more helpful in...More

I visited Leiston Abbey recently whilst taking some 'time out' for myself in the peace and quiet of Suffolk. I was very impressed with the preserved architecture and the information provided about the site.

Stopped here for a picnic and a look. Was amazing place and free too. Daughter loved running around and darting through doorways playing hide and seek. Little gem hidden in Suffolk

Went here while on holiday with our 6 year old. Wonderful ruins of a very very old abbey plus the edition of a classical music school playing in the back ground made the experience truly wonderful

What a fascinating ruined Abbey this is. Very unusual order of monks built it and the remains are splendidly atmospheric. You just don’t expect to find something like this is sleepy Suffolk
