Stumbled on this spot whilst visiting nearby Langard Fort. A modern cafe with decking overlooking the container port. The size of the container ships and the busy cranes loading and unloading will interest boys of all ages. Rather spoilt by too many dogs. The Harwich...More

We spent a very pleasant afternoon watching the container ships coming in and out it is quite educational watching the containers being handled like toys

We went for a walk along the beach by Felixstowe port,the port is one of the busiest in England and if you want to watch the cargo ships or containers being loaded ,go to the point ,which also has a cafe and toilets..the surrounding beach...More

Right by the docks with lots of free parking, enjoyable 30 mins or so looking at some rather big ships Cafe and museum nearby, overall well worth a visit

Free parking, toilets and a cafe doing good range of food, snacks, cakes and ice cream, plenty of seating, Good view of ships being loaded and unloaded.

I think is always worthy a visit, there is the big museum and if you get bored always Harwich
