Not the greatest beach as stony, but great for paddling and swimming they have a lifeguard on one section. Needs more benches on the sea front. Would of spent longer here but the peace was interrupted by a band playing one of the pubs, for...More

Sheringham beaches are excellent for everyone, it is tidal so when the tide is in its pebbles, but when it's low tide it's unbeatable.

Having just spent a few days away, a short distance from the beach, this area offers something for all the family and well worth visiting.

Just the ticket for a family holiday - sandy when the tide is out and just a few pebbles when the tide is in. The beach goes all around the town and is divided by many groins to stop the sand moving and this gives...More

Sherringham has a nice quite, safe and above all clean beach, surprising considering how busy it was, with a maurice dancers festival taking place!

To the best of my knowledge the dog restrictions apply until 30th September and then you can take Fido wherever you want to on the beach.

The best beach is 1.5 miles to a place called West Runton. Beach all the way to Cromer, goodsized car park £3 for the day and a cafe which also offers hot food. The are a few rock pools for the " little ones" to explore
