Situated opposite to Hanuman Temple at the side of the road on the way to Deolo Hills. A large golden statute of Lord Buddha standing tall, which can be viewed from the road itself. The ambience of the place is nice and calm. It is a nice stopover to relax and provide an ideal setting for few photo ops.

This Buddha statue is on the road side which is opposite to Hanuman statue. Nice statue. One can halt for 10 minutes, take photographs and see the mountain view.

This is a small park which has a huge statue of Lord Buddha. We stopped by this park on our way to Deolo Hill. It was great to spend a few minutes and click a few pictures. The statue stands tall and peaceful over the park. It looks amazing. A quiet place to be in. Entry is free for all.

It’s not Lord Buddha by the way , it’s Padmasambhava also known as Guru Rinpoche Tibetan Slob-dpon (“Teacher”), or Padma 'Byung-gnas (“Lotus Born”), (flourished 8th century), legendary Indian Buddhist mystic who introduced Tantric Buddhism to Tibet and who is credited with establishing the first Buddhist monastery there.

While traveling along the road, you can see this beautiful Lord Buddha temple with a large statue and a little praying room beneath. Must visit this place and spend some time in the prayer room to feel the serenity of the place. Young monks are so friendly and show you around and are ready to get clicked with you.

Among the visiting areas, this is a religious place having a small park and a beautiful elevation of Lord Buddha.
When u visit this place also do see the prayer room behind the statue.
You may spend not more than 15 minutes .
There are some snack shops opposite for a small stopeover.
Not a must visit.

A new addition to Kalimpong's tourist attractions. Just situated roadside. The meditating Buddha idol is very serene.

If you have seen the Buddha Park of Ravangla, then you would not like this. It is a good try to create something which is 10% of the Buddha Park but it is a failure as it is not well maintained.
