Horrible, dirty, a place of business for the panda's or temple priest to con, decieve tourists and devotess and extract money from them.

No holiness in the place

It’s a Big business running in the name of almighty. You will be asked for money for every step you take. The Mahaprasad is costlier than food in a 5 star and there are so many counters with different rate charts which will confuse you for sure. There are no social distancing norms once you are in the Mandir, out there is a big queue to check vaccination and rtpcr reports. It’s better to go by yourself without any panda ( purohits), they don’t make your life easy rather there job is to confuse and exploit you.

Visited Temple on 22nd Oct 2021, my views for improvements 1) Gods are not visible clearly from short / long distance, no proper lights in god room 2) the Q system is not proper even old age people should suffer if there is crowd in the temple 3) The preists pull away money from pilgrimage hands...even if we what to put in temples amount collecting boxes.4) No proper directions / instruction of temple open / closing intermediate times.

Good place of Lord .

Temple is really good , god darshan everything fine for me.
The thing one brahman came to me when I was in the Q lane and told that he will explain and show all important things in the temple with his sweet word , for that we need to pay only Rs. 50/- .

I agreed for that he directly took me to one annadana private people s place , which is in the temple premises at South gate.
He forced me to pay 5k, 4k etc
Finally I agreed to pay 551Rs. Then they gave 2 Prasada boxes. Then he took me to another place where all people will be hanging a thread to a tree to fulfill their wishes, there also he told me to pay 365Rs. I denied for taht the. He suggested me to pay somei to hang that threat to tree. I paid 100Rs. Then he handovered me to another pujari to complete my darshan and collect Rs. 50 from me.

That person took me to drashan and again asked for some money to put inthe prasadm box so that he will go inside the temple and keep at lord by performing some pooja on behalf of me. There again I paid some little amount, finally I completed my lord drashan , after coming out I paid Rs 50 as commited by me. Again that person asked for Brahman bhojan fee, I paid again Rs 20, he is not happy with that.

That's how I completed my Puri Trip.

As I observed Everywhere these Pandits are following us to catch the devotees to make money .
