This is one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage of India. one have to be very careful here due to the disturbance of pandas who will try to misguide you. Lord Jagannath temple at puri in Orissa is very pleasant place for all ages people. we visited in December, 2016. many pandas are very good and very friendly. they will do all puja work by nominal remunerations.

the beautiful jagannath temple has to be seen once in one's lifetime. Lord jagannath is the deity here made up of wooden.Every 12 years these wooden carvings are replaced by a fresh ones it was built in 1161 by Anantavarman Chodaganga . shree jagannath temple managing committee puri must do some more arrangements for the public and for senior citizens... The temple is beautiful with ancient artwork. The pandas will make your visit painful unless you already know someone. Quiet crowded even in early morning.The visit should be much organised for peaceful offering. The premises should be cleaner.

It is one of the four Dhams and visiting it was an experience of a lifetime! It was heavenly! I literally cried when at last able to see Lord Jagannath! A must visit for everyone.

We visted the place on a Saturday, an off day for most of the public. As expected, the entire area was full packed. The main road leading to temple was flodded with people but even though a no entry area, many vehicle were going through the crowd with lot of honking.
