The long Puri Beach has various sections with different names, Swargadwar beach is one of them. It is one of the most popular and crowded beaches in Puri along with Golden Beach and situated at the end point of Sea beach road. It is also a safe beach for taking bath. The beach has local handicraft market, numerous stalls and moveable vendors selling tea, snacks, shankha, pearls etc. By hiring chairs @ Rs. 20 per hour, one can sit and spent some quality family time on the sea beach. Under the cool breeze and with hot tea / coffee and snacks and sweets, enjoying the sea beach, especially in the evening, is wonderful experience. The place was as usual is crowded in most of the time. Under illumination the beach road looks stunning. The other side of the beach is dotted with several hotels and restaurants and shopping options. A preferred beach in Puri.

It's a place every tourist must visit in Puri. The innumerous shops are all located on the beach enabling you to shop while also simultaneously enjoying the beach. The market open up in the evenings and is an amazing place to take a walk or just explore when it gets dark.

A whole morning goes away by splashing and bathing at the safe, sandy beach, while the evenings are kept for enjoying the oceanic view and tea and snacks from the many stalls.

This is one part of Puri Beach, it is a little closer to Shri Jagnath Temple, along the beach road, you will get plenty of small Hotels & Guest Houses,
This Part of beach is very crowded, it seems like Mini India, as you will find people on pilgrimage from Pan India, so entire beach seems like a big fun fair.
You can enjoy street food and shopping from street vendors .

You can do Puri in single day. Konark to and fro from Puri will take 2 hrs, add 1 hour to see Sun Temple. On the way to Konark you can see Ramchandi beach and Chandrabhaga Beach.
In second half of day visit Jagannath Temple and Swargadwar beach. If you want less crowd then visit Puri Beach.
In Bhubaneshwar, i depends on how many temples you cover along with zoo.
I m going to puri on 17th october at 7 am. Till 19th oct 7pm.
Please advise the route.

neelachal, sea gull, victoria, pulin puri, Sona international, hotel bangalaxmi. don't go for Sonali it's very bad. and puri hotel will be a bit far from sargadwar. neelachal is right beside sargadwar. but Victoria is the best hotel. every hotel room tariff is around 1700-2000. if u want cheaper option go for belabhumi niwas beside hotel bangalaxmi. its around 800-900 there..all rooms are sea facing.
How many days (minimum) required to visit puri and around

It is advisable to ask the tourist department or the hotel where you plan to stay. As we see in the TV Puri is extremely crowded during this period

YES you can surely visit Puri in June but do not visit between 23-25th of June as Rathyatra is on 25th of June when it will be crowded beyond imagination . Try to visit between 15th -20th June .
