The Dom Bosco Centre aims at a more school public, but it's really worth a visit! The multi level display has a lot of dioramas and printed material that are more to the school student crowd, but their collection of crafts and textiles is beautiful and well displayed. They also have a skywalk on the rooftop allowing a beautiful view... More

i'm not a museum lover, but this center is not to miss. don't get scared by the fact it's spread on 7 floors. it's tastefully arranged, each floor is really just a large room, every room has a subject, and a computer you can focus on a certain subject and get an "in depth" info about it. very nice displays,... We had visited the place on October-2016. We missed the place during our July visit. If you are a museum lover, I must recommend you to visit the place. You would able to understand the culture and demographics of Meghalaya.

The Don Bosco museum was a quick walk through the seven sisters and of course as they mention the brother too.... it had almost a quick look at the tribes, the landscapes, culture, clothing, the demographics and almost all the detail we could fathom in about a three hour trip....

It gives great insight into the culture and traditions of the north east. It is a must do for people visiting the north east for the first time. The short musical video played upstairs is a must watch and the skywalk is fine too.
