This place is approximately 2 km from the market, close to echo point, this place has its own personality. It's a cool place to be with.

this is like most other points in Matheran. offers another slightly different views of the mountains. Not much differences seen to write detailed note on this.

Everyone in matheran will tell you if you had to chose one point in matheran to see it has to be louisa point. Its a long walk to carry comfortable shoes. there are many stopovers so no need to carry other stuff. Ps please dont...More

Located a bit far from market area, this point offers excellent views. You have to do some walking to reach here or the alternate option would be to hire a horse and enjoy both the ride and views. Must visit place..

Sharing taxis cost 70 per person. If you want to book the full cab, you'll have to pay 350, as they have capacity for 5.

Hi mahesh, It is a Good idea to go Matheran in rainy season by bike.but keep in mind after Matheran entry point no vehicles are allowed as per UNESCO.You can take horse ridding or cart ridding from entry point to Matheran... More
