One of the best places for local food. One must come and visit the restaurant to enjoy the meals prepared during the day. That makes it a memorable stay ! The Machan stay make its an unique proposition. Currently some of the rooms are undergoing upgradation so one must seek clarity for an update in order to make it an even better experience.

My most memorable days!!!!
I had taken my sister, who had come down from the U.S.A., to this resort , in order to unwind from her hectic schedule. Just the perfect place to be in!!! The calm and peaceful environment amidst the natural and rustic surroundings was just what i needed too! The ambience is so simple and homely. Cool breezes blowing away the afternoon heat while perched atop the centrally located machaan, night bonfires set up under the starlit skies, clean and neatly tucked beds inviting to rest our tired bodies after a round of safari and trek and the care and warm hospitality shown by the entire staff at this resort. Above all this, a special thanks to Sandeep Singh, who looked after us so well and ensured that we were comfortable at all times and had a wonderful time. I don't think there would be any resort anywhere who would give such personal attention to their guests as this one!!!!! Its this warmth and hospitality of Sandeep that adds to the list of my reasons why I would want to visit this resort again!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for making this my holiday of a lifetime!!!!!!!!!!

The stay at this resort was good in terms of food, rooms, courteous and honest staff ( had left behind my purse with a lot of money and my cards at the lunch room, but it was returned almost immediately with everything intact)
Special mention for Rishikhesh, a zoology student from Pune, currently interning at the resort. He welcomed us on arrival and took us on a trail hike. His knowledge and insights on geology, plant life and animal/bird traits was extremely interesting and informative. It was the highlight of our stay.
Am glad the resort owners are promoting such activities and also encouraging such students. They should promote this actively so that people who visit will get to learn so much from such interns. I

Booked 3 log cottages. Very memorable. The food was simple but delicious. Its run by an excellent team which is always ready to help . Whether is packing your breakfast at 5am or igniting your own campfire. There is a beautiful machan to enjoy your drinks and an inviting pool too.
We left with a heavy heart and fond memories.

First of all, loved our stay at Tiger n Woods. It was my first stay in a log cabin, so can't compare with anything else. The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained. But I did not like the bed sheets used. Too rough to sleep on. The point is to make a comfortable jungle experience, and hence the tariff charged. AC was working fine in all the rooms booked by us. The food was good. But beverages need a bit more working on.
The cafe needs to be air-conditioned. We travelled in the last week of April, and eating in the cafe was pure torture, with the temperature soaring over 46 degrees.
The premise can be a bit better maintained. I particularly was concerned about the open balconies. A netting or some other barrier would be more comforting. A lot of spiders and creepy crawlies around the cabin, but since there were none inside the rooms, m not complaining. The entire property could maybe a bit better maintained. If there are efforts towards organic farming, would have loved to know more about it. We read that the owners had opened this little Haven away from the maddening crowd to get a better life for themselves... Would hv loved to meet the owners.. better still wud b a personal touch by them, if they exchange a few words with their guests during mealtime or while entering... We did not see our hosts at all.
But on the whole, good experience if one goes in a large group. A bit too quiet and isolated for me, if I was traveling solo or as a couple.

Food was good, service was good, owner was good, rooms were less so. Upon arrival we were told to put all edible and valuable stuff in a big metal chest because of the "squirrels". Ahem. I saw a mouse a few times, and OK this is in the jungle and this is a simple place but standing having a shower and seeing a mouse run past was a little unnerving !

We checked in to the hotel at 2PM on 20th June. We were allotted Machaan room no. C 03. Room’s walls roof n flooring were all wooden built over a metallic frame and the whole structure made a big creaking noise with the least of movement. Air conditioning was not effective and would switch on and switch off due to frequent change over of supply. Toilets were not cleaned property and were stinking. There were only two to four other guests in the resort. The swimming pool was under maintenance. We saw the owner a number of times but he wasn’t courteous enough to greet the guests. Next day when my friend discussed the cleanliness issues with him, he was very hostile and used very offensive language. Not worth considering the unfriendly attitude and poor service and hygiene.
