The time u see the first sight of the falls the first word u say is 'awesome' The fall though falling from a low height but the force which makes the water sprinkle up which for oncd seems to be smoke coming from hot water ... The crystal clear water soothes everything in u the eyes to the heart... The... More

It is a waterfall in adjoining part of Bhedaghat. Here one can observe the force of water flow and considered photogenic spot. Here river passes through narrow passage and produces fog and sound. Dhuandhar can also be viewed from overview thorough rope-way drive. One can also do shopping of marble show-pieces in Dhaundhar local market.

What we didn't estimate correctly was the time it would take to reach it. The roads were not in any better... More

My tip would be Do get a guide! Not because there is something the guide knows more than the internet (probably internet will be a better source for information) but the way they present it is just amazing and unique and funny and entertaining. The boat ride acts as an icing on the cake. No need to take the cable... More

It was raining in Jabalpur since 1-2 days when we reached Jabalpur. I guess the rains helped in making the falls more majestic. This is a must visit waterfall. I have visited various falls in India but i think this one is a class apart. The sheer volume of water that moves through the falls can impress anyone. I definitely... More

The calm Narmada after flowing through the marble rocks, narrows down at one point and plunges into a roaring waterfall. This is the famous Dhuandhaar waterfall , the next destination in Bhedaghat. The waterfall is so fierce and falls with a such a vicious force, that it generates a loud noise and a smoky effect, thus getting its name , Dhuan(smoke)...
