The waterfalls are truly beautiful but the whole area is extremely dirty. There are many souvenir shops, restaurants but no restrooms!

Dhuadhar a nature's gift to Jabalpur. Rivers are worshipped in india and River Narmada is pure and blesses jabalpur. The name Dhuadhar came as it is waterfall and when waterfalls the force of water is so much that droplets of water fly like dhuaa/smoke.

As the name suggested the falls are real in manner. One can go there by walking or car. The scene is very beautiful near the fall. After coming from Amarkantak, origin the Narmada river has a strong force and going to Gujarat with a strong force of water bt cutting marble rocks.

We went there during the rainy season, the entire falls was wiped out, we couldnt see the falls just a river flowing. So avoid visiting the falls during rainy season.

Worth watching it. Safe corridors to watch even with small kids. Exellent views. Avoid on Kartik Pournima which fall in Oct-Nov, there is a local fate on this occasion. You will have to face great crowd if visited on this occasion. Otherwise plan for early morning visit, you will enjoy.

Few minutes away from bhedaghat is this grand roaring dhuandhar falls from where the water falls and reaches bhedaghat. One needs to walk a good 1km from parking spot to reach the fall (seems easy through the market). One can buy marble items here or near bhedaghat (more varieties). Sugarcane juice, local berries and sri ram kandmool is worth trying... More
