This is one of the world's largest statue of Bhagwan Bahubali. The place is very beautiful and the time spent here is very nice

Not sure about any hotel nearby for a stay, I covered this place while on my way from Chikmagalur.

You have to change bus at Channaraypatna. Hassan which is 1 hour bus from CHannaraypatna is better place to leave. Shravanabelgola might have some accomodation as it is pilgrimage for Jains, but sometimes only for Jains.
