Tirthan SaiRopa is a must go.

GHNP Accommodation is of reasonable standard and the facility is clean. Bed linen, quilt and pillows could have been better, best to carry your own covers. The trekking options are great and are the main attraction, besides the Tirthan river which has a short and convenient access.

GHNP staff at the facility are not attuned to dealing with tourists. Their restaurant is extremely basic with very poor hygiene and quality. My strong recommendation to not to dine there. Other restaurant options primarily are the ones operated by other guest houses with are reasonably priced.

Road access to GHNP Sai Ropa is not for the faint hearted. Numerous mini traffic jams as the road is one car wide and interestingly there are buses plying on this road.

Electrical power availability is good. Mobile phone signal is good (I had Airtel).

Take the road to Jibhi and then to Jalori pass for the altitude thrill and vies, the narrow road however is a challenge.

Increase your number of days of stay and ofcourse wear full clothes. The place has got so much of natural beauty .the rooms cud hear the lullaby sung by the river tirthan.Everything was mesmerizing. Mr Anirudh the owner takes personal interest in the comfort of his guests.Mr Bhuvan the Caretaker is also no less who along with his wife ensures that the guests have a wonderful stay. The food cooked by Mr. Bhuvans wife is just out of the world. The way they serve;their dining room and I shud say everything was simply superb.I cyd find no fault anywhere.
A must visit place.

Its a bit of offbeat place and if you enjoy nature and want to be at peace in nature you should go and stay here. Its not commercial and does not have a lot of facilities but its absolutely in the lap of nature.

Tirthan the hidden gem now slowly converting into tourism destination. Well now I won't call it real offbeat unless you are not somewhere like Sunshine Himalayan Cottage cheese which gives you sense and feel of ecotourism.

We went fishing, Jalori pass, National park trek.

Our trip to Manali & Shimla was a wonderful experience. We hired a car for the round trip from Chandigarh to Manali, Shimla and back. Manoj our driver is an excellent and soft spoken person who knew all the nook and corner of Himachal and being a local person has the advantage with lot of minor info which is helpful for planning the itinerary. I can safely recommend Manoj and Sonubhai (both are brothers) for car hire for any tour in Himachal Pradesh. They can be contacted at 9857815271/9015179871 or 9816378229/9817356899
