The initial climb to this trek seems tough and tires you out but if you endure the first half an hour, it’s a beautiful way up. The view from top is breathtaking. Go right upto the Pohlani Mata Mandir for a wholesome experience. Maggi and chai on the way back is enticing enough too.

At quite a height - the peak is an easy trek and kids can also do it. The temperature dips when you ascend to the top and it gets windy. The trek is worth it as the views are astounding - one also gets to see the Khajjiar lake from the top.

It is one of the highest points in the Dalhousie area. It is a good 2.5 Kms walk up the hill. All the way it is a beautiful walk. There are Shree Kali and Shiva Mandirs at the top. A wonderful view of snow-clad mountain peaks. A must-visit place.

Perfect Location short trekking path not too long but decent one.

Pohlani Mata Temple near the Hill top is a major attraction for the tourists.

The Himachal Government should develop railing or something near the trekking pathway it is a bit risky for the people who do not have experience of climbing hills.

Excellent Place to visit

The trek to the peak is well worth the effort. The view is really mesmerizing and leaves one in awe. Do not miss the temple behind the peak as well which is roughly 2 kms away.

Total trek of 1.5 kms. First 500m (0.5km) is stairs, the rest 1 km is mostly flat but uneven with a few steps here and there. Takes about an hour total. Mesmerising views on the way. You might be able to see Mount Kailash if the weather is clear.
Water, juice and chocolate available at the beginning, in the middle and end of trek (a little expensive though)
Almost No network reception in the area
