Built in 1894, St. Francis Roman Catholic Church is located on Subhash Chowk, about a kilometer before St. John's.
Surrounded by tall deodhar trees, the church has beautifully maintained garden and the entire premises are spic & span. Despite the shrinking congregation, the church authorities are doing a fine job. Jesus's final journey & his resurrection is depicted in several paintings & sculptures along the path leading to the church.
The church is made of stone with wooden beams on the inside and is also a good example of glass & stone work. One of the main attractions of Dalhousie, a visit to this church is a required lesson in the growth of the hill station.

A beautiful church situated on one of the busiest or crowded point of Dalhousie. The only Difficulty i have faced was to find a parking spot during peak season. Otherwise a good place to visit place.

One of the best church of Dalhousie. Located on Subhash Chowk. Small Bird Zoo built in the Church. Sculptures of Jesus & Mother Mary are very attractive. This is also one of the oldest church of Dalhousie. It is learnt to be built at the time of Lord Dalhousie visited this town. Very peaceful & sacred.

Very beautiful church, as an ancient feel on it. There's a small farm near the church which has swans, rabbits and hens. We wanted to attend the mass in the evening which was at 6:30 pm, we reach there early so father Justin has invited us inside his home to sit near the fireplace 🔥 and warm ourselves. During winters the mass is held in the current area at the scared heart school behind the church. Father Justin is very friendly and so are the convent sisters.
