Peaceful, devout old style temple. Remember to visit in mornings. Temple pat is closed in afternoon opening for only 5 minutes at 06:00 PM. Friendly sadhaks in residence in campus. Only regret: not much literature (or detailed knowledge from residents) available here.

I loved going to this temple simply because of its quite and clean ambience. There are a lot of pigeons and geese around this temple. Kids usually love to run after them

A great temple in Guwahati next to a lake. The temple is a little crowded but quite clean. Interestingly, there is no idol of any god/ goddess in the temple

A nice place to visit daily if you are the religious kind. Not too crowded. Placed on the bank of the Jor Pokhri. Not a clean lake but a decent place to worship.

Some puranas describes it as Shakti Peeth . Famous amongst visitors & devotees of goddess . Crowded during the holy period of navratri . Various forms of offerings & prayers are made by devotees.
