We crossed this bridge on our way to Guwahati. The bridge is pretty long and had my spouse explaining the importance as well as technical aspects of the bridge. Impressive!

Actually this is a rail bridge on the great river Brahmaputra on the way to guwahati from Rangiya named on a ghat of river Brahmaputra.You can see it from the bank of river.There is a good natural scienc for nature lovers.

I chose to do this on a taxi, as I adore rivers, and Brahmaputra being the longest rivers entering India it was a pride to go through this bridge. Please skip this if you do not care about rivers

A very important bridge connecting North and South of Guwahati. But heavy traffic after 9 AM. But it offers amazing view

The only link to connect north and south Guwahati. A drive on this bridge is a nice experience but beware of traffic snarl post 9am.

Saraighat bridge,the pride of North East and Guwahati..... It's a gateway to North East India.... The bridge is very beautiful and will give a very nice glimpse of river Brahmaputra

The Saraighat bride gives a sense of adventure as you walk on it, the bride start shaking. It is scary specially when train passes through. Nice to see.
